Preserving energy is key to any leader’s success because it keeps us productive, on our toes and not tapped out.

But negativity can seep in and hi-jack that success by undermining our productivity and wiping out our energy.

If you are a woman facing bias, this can be challenging. If you are of color, the negativity may pile on double or more, and could partially explain why 90% of high performing Black women leaders say they aren’t happy in corporate America. It is likely why the middle of the leadership pipeline is spewing out women, with women of color leading the way.
